Privacy Policy for DrawKit
Effective Date: 05.2025
Thank you for using DrawKit ("us," "we," or "our"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your
information when you use our mobile application, DrawKit (the "Service").
Our contact email for any privacy-related inquiries is: [email protected]
Information We Collect
We aim to collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve your experience with DrawKit.
1. Information You Provide Directly:
- Feedback and Support: If you contact us for feedback or support (e.g., via email), we
will collect your email address and any information you provide in your communication. This may include
device logs if you choose to attach them when sending feedback.
2. Information Collected Automatically (Non-Personal Information):
- Crash Reports and Diagnostics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and
diagnostic information. This information is anonymized or aggregated and helps us identify and fix bugs,
and improve the stability and performance of DrawKit. This may include information like device type,
operating system version, and app version, but does not directly identify you.
- Firebase Services: The app utilizes certain Firebase services for core functionalities:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (GCM): Used for sending push notifications if you
opt-in to receive them.
- Firebase App Invite: If you use the feature to invite others to the app.
- Firebase Sign-In: If you choose to sign in to use certain features, Firebase
will handle the authentication process. The specific data collected by Firebase during sign-in
is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not store your passwords.
- Firebase Storage: May be used to store app-related data, but not user-generated
content unless explicitly stated for a feature.
3. Permissions Requested by the App:
- Camera Access: DrawKit requires access to your device's camera to provide its core
augmented reality (AR) drawing experience. We do not store your camera feed or use it for any purpose
other than enabling the AR features within the app in real-time. Images or videos are not recorded or
transmitted unless you explicitly use a feature to save or share your drawing.
- Photo Library (Write-Only Access): DrawKit requests permission to save your drawings to
your device's photo library. We only require write access to save the images you create and choose to
save. We do not access, read, or collect any of your existing photos or videos from your library.
How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain the Service: To enable the AR drawing features, allow you to
save your creations, and ensure the app functions correctly.
- To Improve the Service: To understand how users interact with DrawKit, identify areas
for improvement, fix bugs, and enhance performance using aggregated and anonymized data (e.g., from
crash reports).
- To Provide Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, provide support, and address
any issues you report.
- To Communicate With You: To send important notices, such as updates to the app or
changes to this Privacy Policy, or to send push notifications if you have opted-in.
Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about the information we do not collect:
- We do not collect your name, physical address, or phone number (unless you voluntarily
provide it in a feedback email).
- We do not track your precise GPS location.
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, or microphone.
- We do not collect personal data for advertising purposes (the app does not contain
third-party ads).
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the limited circumstances described
below:
- Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers (like Firebase for crash
reporting, cloud messaging, sign-in, and storage) to help us operate and improve DrawKit. These
providers are bound by their own privacy policies and are only permitted to use your information to
perform services on our behalf.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in
the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and
defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the
Service, or protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public.
- User-Initiated Sharing: If you choose to share your drawings or send feedback emails
containing logs, you are initiating the sharing of that data.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, and
unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no security
measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this
Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are
